The same discussion reports Pepper as a Seed Carrier drop and says Watermelon appears in Ridge Valley during a dry period, but these observations should be checked against the current build before being treated as guaranteed routes.

Another Steam thread reports that Crawlus seeds are sold by the island faction and Agave seeds by the desert faction, while noting that specimens may not exist for those two crops. These are player observations with uncertain schedule and location details, so do not present a weekday, price, or NPC position as confirmed here.

For the Loveyer Gene Discovery quest, a developer reply states that the quest needs an original seed rather than a clone seed. This is the strongest evidence currently available for that quest requirement. The reply does not establish a universal gene combination, so the page does not claim one.

Build a practical seed bank

The release-version community procedure uses labeled chests, Gene Activation Chambers, and Seed Extractors as separate parts of a seed bank.
